This should probably belong in vehicles I guess but I'm specifically referring to motorsports rather than cars themselves.
I guess like Mohamdu's become obsessed with golf, I've been starting to follow motorsports a fair deal these past few months, particularly eSports since the real thing hasn't been able to exist since March. I stayed up to watch the fucking 24 Heures du Mans Virtual and loved every moment of it.
Having gotten into Gran Turismo Sport pretty seriously during quarantine and actually getting pretty respectable at it it's entertaining to watch the top real and virtual drivers go at it for a full 24 simulated hours, making plays or defending positions, managing fuel strategy, and watching LMP2 cars deal with GTE traffic. Circuit de la Sarthe is also an interesting as fuck track to both race and watch, with the absurd Mulsanne Straight requiring draft partners and good fuel strategy ending in the corner with a kink before it fucking up your braking zone and requiring careful trail braking to navigate. Indianapolis is also cool as shit because it requires you to enter the first turn on the outside in order to gain access to the inside on the second turn to make a pass while also requiring a lot of the same care as the Mulsanne Corner. It's just cool watching the pros tear it up. Weirdly enough though I've also been catching the virtual F1 series but couldn't really get into it, F1 and open wheel racing other than kart racing has just never interested me all that much for some reason, I can't really explain why.
Oh and Alonso's a retard for running out of fuel in the pit lane rofl
