Well my fellow Tarnished, it's almost time to rise up. Got the game installed after the GMG preorder came through. I'm finally done with SMTV (Lucifier was a pushover bitch after the absolute God of Death that was Shiva) so it's time to chill out, relax and enjoy a significantly easier game.   I think I will try going for a Strength and Dex build. Honestly seems like this will probably be the funnest FromSoft title with a lot things to explore and significantly less boss battle backrunning. Really interested to see what this story is all about, seems far more interesting than that Song of Ice and Fire trash. Can't wait to get home tomorrow and run this shit into the wee hours. |

Man I am terrible with these character creators. I always try to make it look like me and it always ends up looking like my third cousin or something.   Having a fucking blast, I've screamed out loud like a bitch several times already. Man FromSoft has truly taken everything they've learned together on this one.  THIS fucking guy was a little asshole. Beat his ass on horseback.  Man this game looks fucking nice.  Also these little guys are super useful  Seriously what a beautiful ass game.  I cannot wait to pour over 100 hours into this shit. |

Holy shit I killed a Draconic Tree Sentinel, got 50k runes. Strongest enemy I've killed so far. OK, so for the last little while I've been farming runes using the rolling ball trick at Lenne's Rise that lots of people are using since it's so early game, and you can net 1952 runes easy. Got the Gold Scarab after whipping two Cleanrot Knight's asses, ez. That boosted the rune gain each time to 2342. Doing this you can literally net over 9000 runes a minute. In an hour you can get well over 500k runes. But there's apparently another trick in Haligtree Town where you can farm closer to 1.8 million runes an hour. But to do so, you NEED to beat Godfrey in the Capital and enter the mountains, then go through Castle Sol by the Mountaintops of the Giants to be able to enter Haligtree at all. And to even enter the Capital, I need more Great Runes. So I'm fucked, I need to actually play the game now in order to get to the next level of farming runes. I mean this is still alright, but once you get over level 110 or so the rate of leveling really slows down, so a faster rate of rune gain is needed. Oh well, guess I'll actually progress through the story now since my character is strong enough to solo the guardian literally outside of a seal that tells you you can't enter the Capital without more Great Runes. Also this Draconic Greatshield is pretty dope. Got a Draconic Greatsword too, but the Iron Throne sword is still stronger.  |
