Metroid Prime Remastered alone is literally better than every VR game ever made, including Alyx. Not only is it a damn great game first and foremost and above all else, but my god I am more immersed in this shit than anything I've ever played in my life. Including Cyberpunk. Dual stick + gyro controls are absolute divinity. I fucking am Samus. Just look at this: pure unadulterated soul. Something VR cucks could never comprehend. Goddammit Nintendo, why can't you stop winning? Even once? How is it that a fucking tablet using 2015 hardware running a remaster of a 2002 game is completely mogging every piece of VR tech in the year 2023? How did Retro Studios do it. Fuck man. Every single time I play this game I have to keep pausing it just because I can't believe I'm playing a game this good. It doesn't even feel right. Did I die or something? Holy fuck can I just give Nintendo more of my money? Think I might buy an extra copy. Prime 4 will be a masterpiece, my faith in that game actually coming out and raping everything and everyone has been restored. All that being said, Project Wingman is kinda cool I guess.

I have now become convinced that the next Nintendo console will launch in 2025 and be VR capable thanks for a few cameras in the back and front. You will just be able to buy a strap on helmet with some lenses and adjusters, headstraps etc. and the console will just dock in like a smartphone. Pop the 2nd gen Joy-Cons into a VR controller attachment more like the Quest 2. Whole set will cost legit $100 USD. And thus Nintendo will undercut the market again by creating a simple, cheap VR solution that will only cost the consoomer $100 USD compared to say, Sony, Valve, Meta or others charging several hundreds for headsets with all accessories. Nintendo literally put multiple cameras on a handheld console in 2011 with the 3DS, they will do it again. And of course the entire Switch library will be backwards compatible.
And the funny thing is this relatively good deal for consoomers (one home/portable console that actually has games and a $100 headset and controller attachment set) will actually have the most celebrated VR and AR games ever. Think Pokemon Go like AR features in a home console mainline Pokemon game. You will be able to play Prime Trilogy and 4 in full VR, or just normally like Prime Remastered on Switch. Whatever you want. And it will be the greatest VR platform of all-time, because Metroid Prime is actually a game. Unlike every other piece of VR software out there that are literally just glorified tech demos. For once, there will be a VR platform that has games. And it will also be the platform of Mario, Pokemon, Zelda and Metroid.
2025 bitches.

lmfao VR sales have stalled completely what happened solocityElectricCyan I thought VR was the greatest thing ever finally. I thought it was better to just spend all day staring at OLED lenses rather than actual reality. what kind of goddamn idiot wants to wear a retarded helmet on their head all day lmfao it's ok, just wait for Nintendo to actually swoop in and save VR gaming. Star Fox VR is gonna kick ASS.
