Creating this thread because Deemz and I are trying to create a solution to the lapboard problem. Every time this guy comes to my house, we have the best time looking up shit on Amazon and laughing at it. Basically Kadeem uses his PC as a console hooked up to his TV almost 100% of the time and barely every uses it at a desk if at all. Personally I bought myself this Corsair K63 in 2020.
All stock photos by the way, I just have some simple Logitech mouse instead of what's being used here. But this thing is great because the bluetooth mechanical keyboard can just be removed or locked into the lapboard frame. It has a nice cushion underneath it to sit on your lap, a reasonably sized mousepad. You can basically play Doom Eternal or whatever FPS perfectly comfortable in mouse and keyboard mode while sitting on your sofa. Basically Kadeem needs something like this.
Sadly it seems this Lapboard combo variant of the K63 is no longer being sold unless you spend about $300 on ebay. All you can find on Amazon now at least, is this fatboy shit aka the Couchmaster.
I gotta be honest, I kinda want this thing but I just feel like it might take up too much goddamn space. It would be nice to actually have a mini desk at the sofa. As it is with the K63 you must rest it on your lap.

In the end, Deemz has decided to beat the case like OJ. He's gonna go to Home Depot, buy some massive sponges, laminated wood and pillow cases and attempt to build his own Couchmaster rather than spending $300 on this fatboy shit. I wish him godspeed, and if he ever posts the finished product, I shall post it here.
