I quite literally haven't played anything at all since that day I yelled at Danny from a concrete fence. I care about the hardware and software that powers something like Crysis or Call of Duty 4 more than the actual game.
I need to get GMod 10. All you do is fuck with the capabilities of Source. Just my sort of thing.
Goddamn, fuck games.
Why the fuck am I writing this, anyways?

Actually, I would like an answer to the subject question. Why do games absorb so fucking much? Seriously, games used to be pretty slick back in the day. Some decade or so later, it's nothing but truckloads of bullshit every year now. Few modern gems stand out from the heaps of epic crap that make their way into the market. Crysis was an amazing technical feat with a pretty good game attached to it, Team Fortress 2 was brilliantly executed, Super Smash Bros Brawl is full of endless shit to do, and Call of Duty 4 is simply well done. That more or less ends it. The only things I look forward to in the future are Grand Theft Auto IV, Metal Gear Solid 4, and perhaps Grand Turismo 5 if they merge Tourist Trophy into it. I won't be able to play any of those though, so they can go exist or something. This thread is now a discussion instead of a worthless iPod rant of boredom. |

The only games I've played in the last week or so have been TETRIS and Rock Band. Nothing appeals to me right now for some reason. I'm looking forward to GTA4, MGS4 and SC2 though like Tyler I can't even play any of them due to a lack of a 360/PS3/decent PC.
Tetris is still pretty amazing though
i'm becoming a casual gamer, jesus fucking christ that is horrible
edit: I just noticed that all of the games I listed are SEQUELS... Where are all of the new good franchises?

Hmm... The only video games I play nowadays are FFR, StepMania, IaMP, Perfect Cherry Blossom and Imperishable Night. I rarely touch my DualShock2 controller let alone my DS.

I don't have the patience to play video games, but for some reason I have the patience to do math homework for hours and read science-fiction for entire nights without eating or drinking. I don't know why this is so. Also the only games I like would be Tetris, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and probably Street Fighter II or Guilty Gear Accent Core.
