I want Canada to become communist. For a day. See how that works out. I would expect the hardest workers to become prey for the people who are too weak to take care of themselves, and in turn valuable skill and assets would simply become make one a target. Eventually since no one would want to surrender any of their assets as a provider, any skilled laborers such as scientists, surgeons, engineers or even distinguished artists or thinkers would begin to hide their talents as a means to protect themselves from being a provider to the communities around them. There will also be the few skilled laborers who will then proceed to be forced to work much harder than others and will be made as a dependency upon which others will rely; people will eventually enjoy the prospect of enslaving people who are supposedly simply just supporting the communities around them, and the ideal of self-sacrifice will become propagated. At least that is my idea of how it will turn out, but I can't pretend to know what I am talking about here. On second thought I doubt all of this would happen in only one day, I would expect to happen after a long period of a communist rule. If communism become the form of government in Canada for one day in the sense that everyone's property belonged to one another and that everyone had the right to use anything in the country, then I would expect that a lot of people would be missing things the next day. |
