What's Firefox's memory usage?
Also, I find it amusing how the scaling on my iPod is filtered while it is not in Firefox.

Firefox is typically the most RAM heavy application I run, although I don't know how much memory it has exactly. I do give it 1GB of cache though.

I can imagine Ubuntu probably came with some tool to monitor memory usage of individual processes.
Firefox 2 typically surpasses 100 MB under normal usage. It's definitely not an efficient browser.

I have opened 52 tabs which are all set to one of 10 different pages randomly, and Firefox is currently using 211.6 MB of memory.
