Tyler previously never looked at that flying shoe as a flying shoe. Instead, he saw it as a retarded gas pump. When he examined the 'gas pump' closely, he noticed it was not a gas pump at all. Instead he saw it as its true being, as a flying shoe.
Ever since then, he was not able to look at the Goodyearlogo the same way he did before. The deceit the logo brings forward, reminds him of the time he could freely think of them as his own creations
or something...
The Telus one is a 't' and an 'l' at the same time.

Right on the money there. The Goodyear logo always confused me, but I never spent the time to really look at it. Even now that I know about its true form, I still sometimes see the retarded gas pump.

Actually, that Goodyear logo kind of does look like a gas pump. Those feather things look like fingers curled up.
