The GeForce 9600 GT is cheaper, performs slightly worse than the 3870 with AA off, slightly better with AA on, and only takes up one slot. In the end, it's a better buy.

I'd really like to get a MacBook Pro over the summer, transfer everything from the Blackbox to it, and forfeit the Blackbox to Lex or Curtis. I'd prefer to have a laptop, having become more of a casual gamer.

Having beaten MGS4, I feel like I'm done with the series. It actually makes me sad. It did wrap everything up nicely though, and that end easily trumps the last fight of any MGS game.
Goddamn, that owned.
GTA IV is a nice distraction from doing something productive, but I just can't play things for an extended period of time anymore. However, Call of Duty 4 is something I still would like to play on a competitive level, and a MacBook Pro would tear through that, so it's all good.

I still say good luck with the whole display format thing.
That card up there looks really ugly, by the way. I like the straight coolers on the NVIDIA cards.
