Crysis in DirectX 9 uses texture streaming, so the rocks look terrible regardless of settings.

I gave it another chance, seeing as demo will tend to absorb. However, the full game was no better. The demo was actually better because it was quicker to uninstall.
I am never touching an Unreal Tournament game ever again.
TF2 = CoD4 > UT04

Besides looking, sounding and feeling awful, Unreal Tournament 2004 is boring as fuck. I can look past graphics and such if something is fun (Sonic the Hedgehog is fucking awesome), but pretty much everything else is more entertaining than playing Unreal Tournament 2004. Even with the ploy of playing against XF members, it is still incredibly lame and not worth it. It's like playing Counter-Strike, but taking away everything that still makes Counter-Strike mildly enjoyable for a non-competitive player.
TF2 = CoD4 > DoD:S > BF2 > CS:S > Halo > COP* > UT04
TF2 = CoD4 > fun
UT04 != fun

The placement of Halo and COP is debatable, but that is not the point of these inequality statements.
