the problem with my workplace was that the unionfags pretty much wanted the company to do shit poorly, then as a result we lost a lot of business over time, tons of purposefully ignored problems that were repeatedly brought up by other employees but never addressed, and then eventually business partners got so pissed they started pulling out.
It was kind of funny. They hired a new operations manager who tried to arrange company meetings to discuss how to handle shit right, but pretty much no matter what unionfags always resisted. The operations manager quit his job after a month because he realized the company was a sinking ship.
company does poorly > less business > less employees > more job security for those with higher seniority in the company (due to the union) regardless of how competent they are at their jobs
it was pretty lame. in retrospect I'm kind of glad I got out.

lol unionfags. Every time any of our big shows have union workers or teamsters on it everything becomes catastrophically fucked up. Last union show came back with scratched and smashed TV's, ripped drape and set design, dropped projectors and all sorts of other shit, not to mention the trailer being packed like a garbage compactor. They're so fucking useless but a lot of large venues require we use them because of legal bullshit.

you mean airport job where I have to learn a ton of shit about airbuses and different boeing classes? newspaper. ramp services biatch. But I am still not satisfied. I want to get a job that involves a jumpsuit like my dad. this one they give us lame collared pants and shirts with company logos. I am so jealous of that bastard and his pile of greasy ass jumpsuits from fixing machines all day. One day, I'm going to have a sexy jumpsuit with my name on it. and then I will become this guy

shit starting, 10.50 or 11 an hour iirc, haven't gotten first cheque. But apparently there are openings posted, a lot of training opps for drivers to tow/refuel planes and stuff like that. That and if you stay on for a year, they have to raise you a buck.
it's basically just loading cargo, but apparently it's a lot of chilling around waiting for planes.

Whatever I just got laid off from a lame department store. Work is work the hours at this place are lame, so as soon as I get a proper schedule I'll look for another job as well. if there's any openings at that place, let me know. Because it's sounds like decent work and I could probably do it. do they let you drive the trucks there?

The only thing I can't drive is the 10 tonne truck since it requires a DZ or GZ licence. The F-550s are fair game.

If I didn't like my job so much, I'd leave. But it's close to home and easy and fun, so I can deal with the awful pay. ;D Someday I'll make the big BUX like you kids.
