the video was more stress than it was worth. either i kept it there with no ads and hoardes of retards swarmed my YouTube account and only ever commented on anything to talk about the Shia video, or i just deleted it and tried to forget i ever uploaded that stupid video. it didn't matter what else I uploaded, all people ever did was make dumb comments about the Shia video. between thousands of people giving me twitter/youtube notifications all the time and turner being up my ass and eventually threatening me with lawsuits, i just never wanted to fucking see that video ever again. the only good thing that ever came out of it was the ads, it was amazing to me that so many dumbasses watched that clip everyday that i could make at least $90 daily off it. without the ad revenue the video was just an annoyance in my life, so fuck luke turner. i'm not going to keep making this guy famous.

welp, guess who just got laid off.

kind of unexpected without the 8 weeks notice or whatever, but then again the signs were pretty evident in how slow business has been over the past year. the major clienteles for the company have been needing less print collateral, due to the shift to online/digital—print is a dying industry in general. and now, the company's number one major client, responsible for a huge sum of the company's income, is contemplating on going a cheaper route for printing their labels (digital printing as opposed to their current flexography). my boss has been in business talks with them over the past few months, but so far they're leaving him hanging and being vaguely indecisive.

after 90 days are up, my boss will make a decision on whether to bring me back for employment (part-time or full-time), or reimburse me on the severance. regardless of which, I'd rather find a new stabler job that at least gives me benefits.

so yeah, I'm back to being a bum for the time being. at least I've got over a years worth of full-time experience to put on my resume, so hopefully finding a new job shouldn't be nearly as difficult as last time.

I also find this whole situation pretty amusing because I literally just asked my boss two weeks ago about booking vacation time in january because I'm flying to norway between the end of december to the first week of january. now I don't have to worry about getting that shit approved anymore lol!

I got a software development job a few months ago. My company produces billing and invoicing software. It's pretty exciting stuff. I mostly do testing of our software.

I hit up my old boss at the freelance graphic design place I was working for before print three and apparently he's completely fine with me returning, lol. guess I'm going to be doing the freelance gig for the next little while at least until after my norway trip, then I'll take the full-time job hunt seriously. also waiting for EI papers to come in the mail, so that'll be some temporary income as well, on top of the once a week milk maid gig—I could ask for more hours doing milk maid, but I'd rather avoid that shit (shit pay + shit job + overworking).

No, and I doubt we will. We just got it about a week ago. I think we just got the best one we could just for the sake of having it. We've mostly just used it for someone to be able to share their screen with everyone during meetings, so we don't have to use our old projector anymore.

I get to work from home on Fridays, but I don't have internet at home today (I'm changing ISPs, and the old plan ended today but the technician to set up the new one is coming tomorrow), so I went into the office. I'm the only person here right now. It's pretty good.

One of the hotels I've had to cover had the fire alarm go off every week for a month, so I've completely stopped giving a shit about them unless they actually say to evacuate. Does your company own the building or a unit in it?
