the game is harder than starcraft. also whereas in a starcraft game it can last 40 minutes and barely anything happens, in a 10 minute overwatch match so much shit goes on at once it can be very confusing. overwatch will definitely get a bigger viewerbase as an esport than sc2 ever did.

I can't wait for the pro scene to develop and for coordinated teams to actually build up the metagame. Just playing normal games between scrubs like ourselves ends up becoming so insane. I'm sure there are some crooked rollouts teams will use (as people learn to counter Reinhardt + Bastion + Mercy better). played a team this morning that was 5 Tracers + Mercy and then they all simultaneously switched to Winston to counter our McCrees lol

game is pretty well recieved, 98 on metacritic atm

lol wasn't expecting this. watching the weekend overwatch tournament (which is still the most popular game on Twitch now), and I saw Huk and Seltzer decided leave StarCraft and commentate Overwatch now. I wouldn't be surprised to see more pro Starcraft players/commentators switch to Overwatch.

I will say I have much respect for the Wall building talent of Mei Ling. She'd make an excellent legal immigrant and diplomat. Her expertise on climatology and fluent Mandarin will be great for convincing the Chinese to stop spreading global warming propaganda to the free world.

Her name is Fareeha Amari and she's born in Egypt (Africa) and enlisted in the Egyptian army. She's either black or Arab, it's the nationalist part that's important.
